Thanks for checking out my site. I hope my comments and reviews are helpful. I am not one of those bozos who post about the packaging and “can’t wait to try it” kind of crap without really testing a product.  I actually use these blades before writing anything about them.  I don’t go to the ridiculous extremes of those blade smiths on TV, but I do carry and test them.

Be on the lookout for the BladeFellow Favorite and KnifeWife Likes stickers!

As you probably know, knives and blades can be fixed or folding, have general everyday carry uses or specific purposes, and be made of various types of metals.  I consider sharpness, weight, sheath, pocket clip, tip up or down, grip, durability, edge retention, and value for your money. I’ve spent years and thousands of dollars on my personal collection.  Many I would recommend, some I wouldn’t.  Some have a fascinating history, others just looked cool.  A few I really searched for, some I acquired just because they were a good deal.  Occasionally I’ve learned the hard way, wasting money and breaking blades.

My goal is to impart some of my knowledge and experience and help you make an informed decision before you spend money on a blade.  I am an Amazon affiliate and would ask that you please use the links from my web pages for more info and purchases.  Their prices are usually competitive so why not? (They help offset the cost of this website.) Occasionally you can find good deals at your local sporting goods or hardware stores and, by all means, I encourage you to support your local businesses. Amazon will at least give you a fair comparison and some details you may not find in a brick and mortar store.

This site is a work in progress; you may see remnants of my frustration with the host on various pages, if things are out of alignment or missing a link or comment, just know that I am working on it. I am adding and updating as often as I can.  So please be patient, check back soon, and hopefully, I’ll have more content you might find valuable.  Thanks again!
