Ka-Bar USMC

It’s the classic to which all other fixed blades are compared first!

This original Ka-Bar has a fantastic oval stacked leather grip with gradual swell, a big fat steel pommel that works like a hammer and Marines have been using them since WWII. That should tell you something.

It is a little large for practical everyday use (at least in my world,) but it is an awesome knife that won’t let you down.  If you don’t own one, then you’re just missing out. 

I’m partial the USMC version, but they come in all sorts of styles.  Get one, preferably made in Olean, NY and form your own opinion.  Their prices are reasonable, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
